La Fondation Compagnom works to organize and provide moments of respite and employment opportunities to emotionally or psychologically disadvantaged people. Beneficiaries include people suffering from mental illness and their caregivers.
The activities organized by the foundation are designed to promote better mental health in its participants and thus contribute concretely to improving their quality of life.
Since its founding, La Fondation Compagnom has partnered with community organizations to offer moments of respite to over 1,000 people. Beneficiaries and their loved ones really appreciate these vacations, which they too rarely have access to. They get some time to relax, freed from the challenges of everyday life for a while.
To make these initiatives possible, La Fondation Compagnom manages and operates hotel and restaurant establishments on behalf of various owners.
Concrete reintegration support
The establishments operated by Compagnom also provide opportunities for internships or jobs for young people with significant difficulty entering the workplace or for people with intellectual disabilities. Compagnom is an “understanding employer” that offers paid jobs to beneficiaries to help them develop their behavioural and professional skills and allow them to have a job suited to their disability.
